Marcus Hanahoe
Marcus joined M.E.Hanahoe Solicitors after completing his traineeship with a large commercial law firm in Dublin. Since then Marcus has developed a broad practice with an emphasis both criminal and civil litigation.
Marcus regularly advises clients in relation to actions brought by the Criminal Assets Bureau under the Proceeds of Crime Act. He has also assisted in defending a high profile criminal prosecution for breach of the Companies Acts requiring high level engagement with the ODCE, Financial Regulator and Office of the Director of Public Prosecution.
Marcus has also advised clients in actions against state and private bodies including advising on Shareholder Rights, Directors Duties and Obligations and the Oppression of Minority Shareholders.
Marcus has also developed a niche practice advising clients on all aspects of family law including Judicial Separations, Divorce Childcare Proceedings, Pension Adjustments, Safety and Barring Orders and Maintenance Guardianship, Custody and Access.
