Daniel Hanahoe
He has acted for defendants in a broad range of criminal cases in the District and Circuit Court jurisdictions including.
Daniel is regularly a client’s first point of contact when attending to advance clients’ legal rights following their initial arrest and detention offering astute and tactical advice.
He has also developed a specialty advising on cases involving cross-jurisdictional elements. He has successfully defended a large number of persons requested by other states, both inside and outside the EU in extradition proceedings at all levels from the Circuit Court to the Supreme Court and has advised foreign lawyers on criminal matters affecting their clients particularly in relation to immigration.
Daniel also has an interest in Prison Law and frequently advises inmates of their rights during incarceration and liaises with relevant authorities where necessary to ensure these rights are recognised.
